Experienced in Coaching and Customer Service
I am a finance student at Northern Illinois University whose work ethic, character, and leadership style have been shaped by athletics, coaching, client service, and operational responsibilities. My experiences have taught me how to stay disciplined, adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and take pride in contributing to a team’s success.
What defines me most is the way I approach growth. I value accountability, preparation, consistency, and professionalism. Whether I am learning in the classroom, helping a customer, supporting daily operations, coaching athletes, or competing as part of a team, I focus on doing the job well and continuing to improve.
My path has been shaped by experiences that required both performance and responsibility. Athletics taught me how to compete, stay committed to long-term goals, and work within a team structure where preparation and discipline matter. Coaching gave me the opportunity to lead others, communicate clearly, and think strategically about how to support growth and performance.
My professional experience strengthened another side of my development. In customer-facing and operational roles, I learned how to solve problems in fast-paced environments, support day-to-day functions, pay attention to detail, and build positive relationships through reliable service. These experiences taught me that success is not only about effort. It is also about consistency, professionalism, and the ability to contribute to outcomes that matter to both teams and clients.
My competitive advantage lies in the combination of financial education, operational awareness, client service experience, and performance-driven habits.
I am building technical knowledge through my finance coursework, but I also bring something equally valuable: real-world habits developed in demanding environments. I know how to learn quickly, stay composed under pressure, communicate well, and contribute to a team with accountability and professionalism. My background gives me a strong foundation not only to understand business but to add value within it.
Disciplined
Athletics has taught me how to commit to a routine, stay focused on goals, and keep working even when progress takes time.
Adaptable
I take pride in learning quickly, responding to challenges, and finding solutions in fast-moving situations.
Team-Oriented
Some of my most meaningful experiences have come from working with teammates, coaches, customers, and younger players toward a common goal.
Communicative
I value clear communication because it builds trust, strengthens teams, and helps people succeed together.
Growth-Minded
I am committed to improving, taking feedback seriously, and continuing to develop both professionally and personally.
Looking Ahead
As I continue my education and professional development, I am focused on creating opportunities to grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact. I am especially motivated by environments that value teamwork, accountability, strong relationships, and continuous improvement. My goal is to build a career in finance while bringing the same discipline, leadership, and work ethic that have shaped every other part of my journey.
I strive to live with discipline, lead with accountability, treat people with respect, adapt with confidence, and pursue growth with humility. I believe success is built through preparation, teamwork, and a commitment to doing the small things well.
